Daily maintenance of telescopes to protect you throughout the process
- Ensure that the telescope is stored in a ventilated, dry and clean place to prevent mold. If conditions permit, put desiccant around the telescope and replace it frequently.
- For the remaining dirt or stains on the lens, wipe it gently with a professional lens cloth to avoid scratching the mirror surface. If you need to clean the mirror surface, use a little alcohol on cotton wool and wipe it from the center of the mirror surface to the edge of the mirror surface in one direction, and keep changing the cotton wool ball until it is wiped clean.
- The telescope is a precision instrument. Do not drop, press or perform other violent actions on the telescope.
- Non-professionals should not try to disassemble the telescope or clean the inside of the telescope by themselves.
- Please avoid collision with sharp objects such as nails, needles, etc.
- Pay attention to moisture and waterproof when using the telescope. As a precision instrument, try to avoid using the telescope in harsh conditions.
Beginner’s Guide
Operation of Telescope
- Pupil Adjustment and Diopter Adjustment
Merge two circular fields of view into one.
Adjust pupil distance, that is, by moving the eyepiece tube outward or inward to match the distance between the left and right eyepiece tubes with your pupil distance, diopter adjustment
(balance the vision of the left and right eyes)
- Observation Adjustment
- Rotate the focus ring until a clear image of the subject is obtained in the left eyepiece
- Rotate the diopter adjustment ring on the right eyepiece until a clear image of the same subject is obtained in the right eyepiece
- Check whether the focus of both eyes is clear
- When you observe different subjects, adjust the focus ring until a clear image can be obtained.
